About us
Dr. Blume has founded GECKO CONSULTING, smooth healthcare concept, in the 90s together with professors of well-known University hospitals and administrative specialists to improve healthcare
abroad. Many medical and healthcare projects have been realised in Bahrain, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, The United Emirates, and Russia.
Murad Ahmed Khalifa El Basir works tirelessly to improve the life of his people and Libyan patients.
He coordinates all activities in Libya and is in direct contact with the government, insurance companies and private persons.
During the last 30 years the company has established a network between various hospitals,
professors and medical specialists, training centres for medical doctors, nurses and medical
technicians.
Our Mission
It is our mission to implement the goals of FUND, established in Tripoli in 2012, which aim to improve the living conditions of the Libyan population, especially in the field of health care and education of young adults. By linking the public and private sectors, we aim to contribute to this goal based on the latest scientific and technological knowledge,
1. to improve the quality and sustainability of Libya's health care system and reduce costs,
2. to enable and organize the training of medical, medical-technical and psychosocial professionals in Germany,
3. to establish a solidarity-based health insurance system for all groups of Libyan society.
THE FUND
The Health, Psychologic- and Social-care FUND was established in 2012 in collaboration between Libyan businessmen and private individuals with the participation of ministries and other sectors of the public sector in Libya. The common goal is to establish sustainable investment programs in the field of health, technology, and education for youth and young adults in solidarity with Libyan ministries and to create stable strategic financial reserves for this purpose.
THE CANCER REGISTRY
Together with our Libanese partners, we implemented a state of the art cancer registry in Lebanon. This cancer registry tracks every case of cancer in Lebanon. It tracks the treatment plan and outcome and is a great tool to see the effectiveness of different treatment options and the development of statistical differences of cancer over time. The software is easy to use for every doctor and can be individualized for other countries and their cultural and societal specifics.
